Cookie policy

Last updated 16 September 2026

This policy explains what hotelia360.com and our demo environment at demo.hotelia360.gr store in your browser. It sits alongside our privacy policy, which covers personal data more broadly.

The short version

We set no cookies on either site. We load no advertising, analytics or social tracking scripts. Fonts, images, styles and scripts are all served from our own domains, so no third party learns that you visited us. That is why you are not asked to accept anything before reading the site.

What a cookie is, and what local storage is

A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep and send back on every later request, which is what makes it useful for tracking people across visits and across sites. Local storage is different: it also lives in your browser, but it is never sent anywhere automatically. Only the page that wrote it can read it back, and only while you have that page open.

The distinction matters here, because the demo uses the second and not the first.

hotelia360.com

This site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies and writes nothing to your browser's storage. The contact form sends what you type directly to us when you submit it, and nothing before that.

The Hotelia360 Live demo

The demo at demo.hotelia360.gr sets no cookies either. It writes four entries to your browser's local storage, all of which are necessary for it to function:

Stored asWhat it is forHow long
h360_demo_unlockedRecords that you have been given access, so you are not asked for your email again on a return visit.Until you clear your browser data
h360.sessionKeeps you signed in to the demo dashboard while you are using it.Until you close the tab
h360.filtersRemembers which property and date range you last selected, so the dashboard does not reset as you move between views.Until you close the tab
h360.tourSeenRemembers that you have already been through the guided tour, so it does not start again every time.Until you clear your browser data

If the demo cannot reach the server when you request access, it also keeps your submission in local storage under h360_lead_pending and sends it on your next visit, so that a temporary fault does not lose your request.

Why there is no cookie banner

The ePrivacy Directive and Greek law 3471/2006 require consent before storing information in your browser, with an exception for storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for. Remembering that you unlocked the demo, that you are signed in and where you were looking falls squarely inside that exception, and none of it is used to profile you or follow you anywhere. Since we do nothing outside the exception, asking you to click a banner would be theatre rather than a choice.

If that ever changes — if we add analytics, or embed anything from a third party — we will ask first, and this page will say so.

How to clear it

Clearing site data for the domain in your browser settings removes everything listed above. In the demo you can also sign out, which clears the session immediately. Nothing here is stored on our servers, so clearing it in your browser is enough; what we hold about you on our side is covered by the privacy policy, and you can ask us to delete that at any time by emailing info@hotelia360.com.

The Greek site

Our Greek-language site at hotelia360.gr runs on different software and does use cookies, so it asks for your consent before setting them. Its own cookie policy applies there.

Changes

We may update this policy as the sites evolve. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
